When Eric first met Axcess Chairman & Founder Kirk Posmantur, they were both “puppies” in their careers – Kirk was a rising executive at the American Hotel & Motel Association and Eric was a student at the Hotel School at Cornell. What started as an internship grew into a life-long friendship and partnership. Often characterized as “their little brother,” Eric was adopted by Kirk and Mike Wargotz when the three worked together at Cendant Corporation and, subsequently, when they founded what today has become Axcess Worldwide. An entrepreneurial spirit with experience in both large and small organizations, Eric has worked with many of the world’s leading organizations—from those with heritage brands to those disrupting entire industries. In 2013, after completing a mid-career Master’s degree at Harvard University, Eric released a best-selling book, Howard’s Gift: Uncommon Wisdom to Inspire Your Life’s Work, which he wrote in collaboration with iconic Harvard professor Howard Stevenson. Today, he works on select Axcess projects and, like Axcess Managing Director Brett Muney, has a healthy obsession with hospitality, customer service, and warm climates.
